Supportive Housing through Billerica Housing Authority gives residents the chance to stay safe and independent while enjoying the comfort of their own home. A big part of making this possible is the support of our on-site Resident Service Coordinator, Merari Andrades. Merari assists residents at 16 River Street, 13 River Street and 33 Talbot Ave, Billerica, MA.

Merari is an AgeSpan (formerly Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore) employee who works right here at your housing site. She’s trained to connect residents with helpful programs and services, and she works closely with residents, housing staff, families, and community agencies to make sure residents’ needs are met.

How Merari Can Help You:
  • Provide referrals for services like homemaking, personal care, or Lifeline buttons
  • Assist with applications and paperwork, including MassHealth, SNAP, and rental re-determinations
  • Connect you with food pantries, transportation to medical appointments, senior center programs, and more
  • Organize community events, educational activities, and wellness programs
  • Be a friendly resource if you have questions or concerns

In addition, residents may qualify for home care services, and all direct care is provided through trusted AgeSpan partners chosen for their quality and affordability. Programs may include meal services, laundry and light housekeeping, evidence-based health programs, SHINE counseling, and more.
